Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data RankAI SEO (“the app”, “we”) accesses, why, and what happens to it. RankAI SEO is a Shopify app operated by FutureTechiez (proprietor Ashif Iqbal), India. Contact: workwidashif@gmail.com.
1. Data we access from Shopify
- Store details: store name and domain.
- Product content: product titles, descriptions, SEO titles and meta descriptions, product type, vendor, tags, options, variant titles, prices and SKUs, product images and their alt text, and the FAQ data the app saves on products.
- Order summaries: to show how many orders came from search engines or AI tools, we read order totals, currency and the referring website / UTM source of the visit. We store only aggregated totals, not individual orders, and we do not store customer names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.
2. Your public storefront
The technical SEO audit reads your store’s public pages, sitemap and robots.txt, the same way a search engine does. Results (page URLs and detected issues) are stored for your audit history.
3. Google Search Console data (optional)
If you choose to connect Google Search Console, we request one read-only permission: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly. We use it only to:
- list the Search Console properties your Google account can access, so you can choose the one for your store, and
- read search performance data for that property (search queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, device and country) and show it to you inside the app with improvement suggestions.
We never change anything in your Search Console. Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted (AES-256) in our database and are never shown in your browser. Search data is stored only to display it to you and is refreshed periodically. Google data is not sent to AI providers.
Google API Services User Data Policy
RankAI SEO’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to train AI models, and no person reads it except with your permission, for security reasons, or to comply with the law.
You can disconnect at any time inside the app (this revokes our access and deletes stored Search Console data) or from your Google Account permissions page.
4. AI processing
When you ask the app to generate a draft (or enable autopilot), the product content listed above and the brand details you enter in settings are sent to Anthropic (Claude API) to write the suggested text. Anthropic processes it to return the result; under its commercial terms, API inputs are not used to train its models. Nothing is published to your store unless you approve it or turn on automatic publishing.
5. Service providers
- Shopify – app platform and your store data.
- Railway – hosting and database.
- Anthropic – AI text generation.
- Google – Search Console data, only if you connect it.
We do not sell personal or store data and do not share it with anyone else.
6. Retention and deletion
- While the app is installed we keep your settings, product SEO scores, drafts with before/after content (so changes can be restored), change history and your latest audit results.
- When you uninstall, we immediately remove app sessions, stop pending work, and revoke and delete Google tokens.
- All remaining data for your store is deleted when Shopify sends its data-removal request (shop/redact), normally 48 hours after uninstall.
- You can ask us to delete your data earlier by emailing workwidashif@gmail.com.
7. Security
All traffic uses HTTPS, third-party tokens are encrypted at rest, and every request is limited to the store that is signed in.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold about your store by contacting us. Requests from your customers under privacy laws are handled through Shopify’s data request process.
9. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above. Significant changes will be shown inside the app.
